Vessels come in loaded with salt. You unload them, stockpile the product, blend it, and get it out the door to customers before the first snow flies.
You'll run Sennebogen material handlers, wheel loaders, conveyors, blending systems, pneumatic hoppers, and field unloaders. If you haven't run all of it yet, we'll train you. Grit One is a new operation, so the people here now are the ones setting how the work gets done.

About Grit One
Grit One is Midwest Salt with a port address. We're the bulk salt production and storage facility at the Port of Chicago, where vessels unload, product gets stockpiled, and supply moves fast to customers who count on us.
We're still building this operation, which means every person on this team has a real hand in shaping what it becomes.
