Duties
- Perform routine oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs efficiently to meet service time standards
- Conduct tire rotations, wheel alignments, and basic tire services with precision and attention to detail
- Inspect vehicles for safety issues or maintenance needs and communicate findings clearly to customers or supervisors
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks quickly and accurately
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, battery checks, and light repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency during all service procedures
- Support sales efforts by recommending additional services or products that enhance vehicle performance and longevity
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an automotive repair shop, dealership, or service center is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, oil change procedures, alignment services, and tire work
- Proven ability to perform vehicle maintenance accurately while adhering to safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for vehicle servicing
- Service technician experience or dealership background is a plus but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential
