We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Cook specializing in breakfast and lunch service to join our team. Must have experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch dishes with precision and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Manage food preparation activities including poaching, sautee, grilling, and other cooking techniques to produce flavorful, appealing meals
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist with menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient sourcing to ensure variety and quality
- Handle food production efficiently during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times to meet health regulations and safety standards
- understanding dietary restrictions and assisting with meal customization as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service
- Strong knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Skilled in various cooking methods including poaching, braising, grilling, and general food preparation
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment used in high-volume production environments
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards during busy service hours
- Prior restaurant or food industry experience demonstrating proficiency in food service operations
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
