What You'll Earn
Base pay of $35–$45/hr. Pay is based on experience with room to grow as you demonstrate technical expertise and the customer communication skills this role demands.
What You'll Do
- This isn't a typical service call rotation. As our Warranty Technician, you'll focus on warranty-period service for customers with newer equipment — primarily American Standard, Mitsubishi, and Ameristar installs. You'll own the relationship from first callback to final resolution.
- Respond to service calls on residential HVAC systems within the manufacturer and Elite warranty period
- Communicate technical findings to homeowners in plain language, including warranty coverage boundaries and next steps
- Differentiate between equipment defects, installation issues, and homeowner misuse
- Coordinate warranty claims with manufacturers and document findings accurately in ServiceTitan
- Flag recurring installation patterns to the install team to reduce repeat callbacks
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years residential HVAC service experience — installation background a strong plus
- EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
- TDLR registration (required)
- Strong diagnostics on Elite's install brands: American Standard, Mitsubishi Electric, and Ameristar
- Proficient in variable-speed/inverter-driven equipment diagnostics and working knowledge of zoned systems: zone boards, damper controls, pressure balancing, and multi-zone fault isolation
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- NATE certification a plus — not required
