Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A Truck Driver to join our trucking family as we grow. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across various routes, tarp and untarp load in trailer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to a fast-paced operation that values professionalism and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers with manual/ automatic transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Tarp and up tarp load.
- Drive a variety of trailers including flatbed, tippers and walking floors
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, report any issues promptly..
- Maintain vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate professionally with dispatcher.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially with freight delivery using tractor-trailers.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and familiarity with various trailer
- Strong knowledge of route planning, traffic laws, safety procedures, and DOT regulations.
- Experience with driving different types of trucks including walking floor , flatbeds, or tippers is preferred.
