Host / Front Door Guest Relations
Moxie Ultra Lounge is looking for a confident, polished, and welcoming Host to join our front-of-house team. This is a front-facing role in an upscale nightlife lounge, so the ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, strong personal presentation, and the ability to create a positive first impression for every guest.
As the Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the venue. You will manage reservations, greet and seat guests, answer phone inquiries, communicate with servers and management, and help maintain a smooth guest flow throughout the night.
Must be 21 years of age or older due to Moxie's hookah/tobacco service, alcohol service and age restricted nightlife environment.

Your shifts will be set between 7PM and 3AM.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, waitlist, and seating arrangements
- Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, hookah staff, security, and management
- Answer phone calls and provide accurate information about reservations, hours, dress code, events, and venue policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand/front entrance area
- Assist with guest concerns and help ensure a smooth guest experience
- Support management with guest flow, table timing, and special requests
- Represent Moxie Ultra Lounge with professionalism, confidence, and upscale nightlife presentation
Qualifications
- Previous host, hospitality, nightlife, restaurant, or guest service experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident, personable, and comfortable interacting with guests
- Polished, well-groomed, and professional presentation required
- Must be comfortable following upscale nightlife dress and grooming standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced nightlife environment
- Experience with Toast POS or reservation systems is a plus
- Must be able to stand for extended periods during shifts
