Our Ideal Candidate:
· Has working knowledge and/or experience in the painting industry (minimum of 3 years of experience required)
· Is motivated, detail oriented and ready to take on challenges.
· Has an outstanding record of dependability and excellent references.
· Has a clean background check, a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
Duties Include:
· Moving furniture and equipment as necessary.
· Covering surfaces with cloth or plastic to protect surfaces during painting.
· Taping off areas when needed.
· Removing fixtures such as pictures, doorknobs, lamps, and electrical switch covers prior to painting.
· Scraping, sanding, priming, or sealing surfaces prior to painting.
· Filling cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulk guns or putty knives.
· Applying primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, like bare wood or metal, for finish coats.
· Applying paint, stain, varnish, enamel, or other finishes to equipment, buildings, or other structures, using brushes, spray guns, or rollers; apply paint to surfaces including walls, floors, doors, and cabinets.
· Erecting scaffolding or setting up ladders to work above ground level (must be willing to climb up to 32’ ladders).
· Cleaning up all equipment, including brushes and spray guns.
This position requires the employee to have transportation to and from the job site.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
