We are non profit child care center seeking experienced, talented, patient, and creative part time After School program instructors at Braintree After School Enrichment program. The After School Teacher position is M-F 2-5:30/6:00 . We are a before and after-school program for school-age children located in Braintree, Ma. Experience is necessary 2+ years and a car is a must. The After School Program Instructor will report to Assistant Director/Executive Director.
An After School Teacher or lead instructor at Braintree After School Enrichment (“B.A.S.E.”) is responsible for supporting the social, academic, and emotional development of school-age children at B.A.S.E during our before and after-school program hours while maintaining a safe and stimulating environment.
After School Instructor duties and responsibilities:
- Establishing and enforcing rules of behavior for students in the classroom
- Preparing lessons and projects to complete learning objectives
- Establishing and communicating clear objectives for lessons and projects
- Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students
- Encouraging students to explore learning opportunities
- Working with students one-on-one when they need extra help or attention
- Creative, fun and adaptive learning environment
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
