The Foster Care Specialist serves as the agency’s designated Case Management Staff for assigned children, youth, and young adults and is responsible for coordinating, documenting, and monitoring individualized services from admission through discharge and applicable Aftercare services. The position fulfills child-specific Cross-System Coordination and Education Liaison functions; participates as Crisis Management Staff for assigned children; supports foster family home recruitment during Phase II of verification; and promotes caregiver retention through responsive support, coaching, resource coordination, and service delivery. The Foster Care Specialist collaborates with the Area Director, Dedicated Support Specialist, and Kinship Caregiver Support Specialist as applicable, while retaining responsibility for the child’s primary case management.
Pay: From $35,568.00 per year
