American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring strong interventional and STEMI experience, EP device proficiency, and availability for an on-call rotation.

Hospital-based Cath Lab unit
-
Procedures performed include: Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, Rotablader, pacemaker/defibrillator device placement, stents, thrombectomy, balloon angioplasty, and PCI
-
Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (shift times vary between 6:30–17:00 and 7:30–18:00)

On-call required: 10 shifts per month, including weekend call

Floating may be required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

Cerner charting experience required
-
13-week contract
-
Active IN or Compact RN license required
-
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or RQI accepted)
-
Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab RN experience required

Strong experience with interventional procedures and STEMI management required
-
Proficiency with EP devices required
-
Cerner EMR experience required
-
RN degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program required

2 supervisor references required for consideration

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Indiana residents are considered local candidates and are eligible at a modified pay package
-
Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
-
Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break; Indiana residents require a 180-day break

Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved

Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
