Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Financial Analyst with 5+ years of professional experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving strategic financial decision-making by analyzing financial performance, developing robust financial models, preparing insightful reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. This role requires a strong understanding of financial planning, accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and business performance analysis.
The successful candidate should possess exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and business strategy.
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare variance analysis reports comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable recommendations.
- Prepare, review, and interpret financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and strategic financial planning processes.
- Conduct cost analysis and profitability assessments to identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Perform financial feasibility studies, investment analysis, and scenario modeling for business initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders to support pricing strategies, revenue analysis, and operational decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, SOX requirements, and statutory reporting standards.
- Generate dashboards and management reports using financial reporting and business intelligence tools.
- Improve financial reporting processes by identifying automation and process improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Leadership teams to provide financial insights that drive business growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, FP&A Analyst, Corporate Finance Analyst, or in a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and corporate finance.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and scenario analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, Lookup functions, financial formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, IFRS, and financial compliance frameworks including SOX.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities with experience working with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA in Finance, CA, CFA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
- Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, or advanced data analytics is an added advantage.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
