Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable General Education Teacher to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for an educator passionate about differentiated instruction who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment, working alongside special education and behavioral health professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in core academic subjects
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Collaborate closely with Intervention Specialists, BCBAs, RBTs, and related service providers
- Support the implementation of IEP goals and classroom accommodations
- Foster a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
- Communicate regularly with families and team members regarding student performance
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid Ohio Teaching License (or eligibility required)
- Experience working with diverse learners or students with special needs is strongly preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team-based, therapeutic environment
- Patient, flexible, and student-centered mindset
