We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) the ideal candidate with 5 to 10 years of experience. This role will work closely with the management to maintain the company’s financial health, enhance reporting procedures, support compliance, and provide meaningful financial insights that contribute to operational efficiency and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports to management, including insights on performance, trends, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
· Maintain complete and accurate financial records and oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
· Support external audits by coordinating documentation, responding to information requests, and helping ensure timely completion of audit processes.
· Assist with tax preparation and filings, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
· Help improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
· Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decision-making and long-term planning.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
· CPA license strongly preferred.
· 5 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience, banking, financial services, auditing, tax preparation, or financial analysis.
· Strong understanding of fund structures, capital accounting, financial reporting standards, and the full accounting cycle.
· Proficiency with accounting software, financial management tools, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Sage 50 or similar platforms.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities.
· Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
· Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and lead projects in a fast-paced professional environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to management and key stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
· BS/BA or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
· Experience with a Big Four accounting firm or comparable public accounting environment.
· Banking, investment management, or financial services experience.
