Duties
- Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach, telemarketing, and networking events to generate new business opportunities
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess insurance needs across health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance sectors
- Present and explain various insurance products, ensuring clients understand coverage options, benefits, and policy details
- Negotiate terms and premiums with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to insurance regulations and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details using CRM systems and sales administration tools
- Build lasting customer relationships by providing exceptional service, ongoing support, and benefits administration guidance
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and product updates to provide expert advice and maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse client populations
- Knowledge of health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, commercial insurance, and related regulations such as HIPAA and insurance licensing requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems for sales tracking and client management
- Strong customer service orientation with exceptional client communication skills to build trust and loyalty
