As a lifeguard at the Mason City Aquatic Center, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all pool patrons. What You’ll Do:

Oversee swimmers and all users of the pool, ensuring everyone’s safety.

Enforce pool rules and maintain a safe, friendly atmosphere.

Lead or assist with pool activities, making sure they run smoothly.

Stay on duty until the pool is cleared and safely closed.

Assist with swimming lessons and help participants improve their skills.

Report accidents, concerns, or issues to the head guard.
The Perks:

Pay: $11.00/hr and up, based on experience.

Flexible Hours: 10-40 hours per week, weather dependent.

Seasonal: Work from May through August.
Requirements:

Must be 15 years or older.

Must be able to stay alert and focused while on duty.
