We are seeking a full-time, detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to join our team in Mandeville, LA. This Survey Technician will be instrumental in producing high-quality, accurate drawings across a range of infrastructure and land development projects. The ideal candidate has strong CAD skills, an understanding of surveying principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The work schedule for this role is Monday -Thursday, 6:45 AM - 4:45 PM. No travel is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ALTA/ACSM Land Title survey, boundary surveys, Topo, utility as-built drawings, including "plan & profile" drawings
- Produce field worksheets for construction projects
- Process and draft field data collected from survey crews, including GPS and total station data
- Develop surfaces, contours, and alignments using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Assist with plat preparation, legal descriptions, and easement exhibits
- Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to meet project requirements
- Maintain drawing standards and ensure accuracy and quality control of deliverables
- Organize and manage project files and data within company systems
- Revise drawings based on redlines and client or team feedback
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of surveying CAD experience
- Proficiency with Civil 3D & AutoCAD
- Understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, and field data processing
- Experience with GPS data, point clouds, or LiDAR is a plus
- Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with Microstation
- Knowledge of GIS applications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
Environmental & physical factors:
Indoors - extended periods of sitting, frequently walking, and standing have manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination needed to use a variety of office equipment such as computers, telephones, calculators, copiers, and topographic surveying equipment; Have corrected vision in order to review plans and specifications and perform other essential functions of the job

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.
