Overview
Life Care Center of Omaha is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in nursing home management, with a strong focus on resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. As the LNHA, you will oversee daily facility operations, ensure adherence to health regulations, and foster a compassionate environment that promotes the well-being of residents. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive leadership for the nursing home, ensuring high standards of resident care, safety, and quality service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to residents’ individual needs, including those with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other memory impairments.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local long-term care regulations and health policies.
- Manage the financial aspects of the facility, including budgeting, financial management, and healthcare financial oversight.
- Supervise and mentor care staff, nursing leadership, and administrative teams to promote professional development and operational efficiency.
- Oversee medication administration processes and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain effective communication with residents’ families and coordinate with community services to support residents’ holistic well-being.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, staff scheduling, and care coordination tasks.
- Lead efforts in disability services and assisted living programs to enhance resident independence and quality of life.
- Foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes resident dignity while managing day-to-day operations.
Experience
- Extensive experience in nursing home administration or senior living facility management with a proven track record of leadership in long-term care settings.
- Strong background in Alzheimer’s care, memory care programs, dementia care strategies, and resident engagement initiatives.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations, healthcare policies, and compliance standards governing residential care homes and assisted living facilities.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams within healthcare or residential settings.
- Proficiency in healthcare financial management including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with social work practices related to elder support services and community-based disability programs.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex health needs is highly desirable.
- Competence in managing operations using Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes.
- Leadership qualities with excellent organizational skills; ability to oversee medication administration processes effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
