We're looking for an experienced, organized, and customer-focused Property Manager to lead the daily operations of one of our apartment communities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing people, operations, sales, and financial performance while creating an environment residents are proud to call home.

What You'll Do
As Property Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of your community while leading your team toward operational excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
Community Operations
- Lead the daily operations of the apartment community.
- Ensure the property remains clean, safe, attractive, and well maintained.
- Conduct routine inspections of apartments, common areas, and amenities.
- Partner closely with the Maintenance team to prioritize work orders, apartment turns, and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor vacant apartments to ensure they are market ready.
Leasing & Occupancy
- Drive occupancy through proactive leasing, marketing, and resident referrals.
- Consult with prospective residents to find the right home.
- Process rental applications and execute lease agreements.
- Coordinate smooth move-ins and move-outs.
- Monitor local market conditions and recommend pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Resident Experience
- Deliver outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents.
- Resolve resident concerns professionally and promptly.
- Build strong relationships that encourage lease renewals and long-term resident satisfaction.
- Enforce community policies fairly and consistently.
Financial Performance
- Collect rent and monitor delinquent accounts.
- Assist with collections and eviction processes when necessary.
- Prepare reports on occupancy, leasing performance, and community operations.
- Maintain accurate resident files and documentation.
- Support the property's financial goals through sound operational decisions.
Leadership
- Foster a positive, collaborative workplace for maintenance team and other property operations employees, built on accountability and respect.
- Communicate company goals and expectations clearly.
Marketing
- Promote the community through online listings, social media, resident referrals, and local outreach.
- Ensure marketing materials and property listings remain current and compelling.
- Participate in community events and resident engagement activities.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first few months, you'll have established yourself as the leader of your community by:
- Partnering with the Maintenance and Property Operations teams to deliver a service-focused environment.
- Maintaining strong occupancy and resident satisfaction.
- Ensuring apartments are leased and move-in ready on schedule.
- Keeping operations organized, compliant, and financially sound.
- Creating an environment where residents enjoy living and employees enjoy working.
What We're Looking For
- Previous property management experience in multifamily housing preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in using property management software is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to frequently walk apartment communities, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
