We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Room Inspector to join our team on weekends and during holidays. Duties
- Compile housekeeper's daily sheets/room assignments.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to verify cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards are met.
- Identify and document any issues related to cleaning, repairs, or safety hazards, and communicate these promptly to the appropriate departments.
- Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with amenities and supplies before guest check-in.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when necessary to uphold high standards of hygiene across the property.
- Support housekeeping staff by providing feedback on cleaning quality and assisting with special cleaning projects as needed.
- Maintain detailed inspection logs and reports to track room status and ensure accountability for quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial services, with a strong focus on quality control and inspection.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and general sanitation practices.
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively report issues and collaborate with team members.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during inspections.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and safety procedures is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
