As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, memory care, oral care, hygiene, assist with walking, transferring, mobility, help clients adhere to their medication schedule, update and follow care plans and have an understanding of HIPPA regulations and the importance of client confidentiality
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health, and provide timely updates to family members and healthcare providers, as well as the agency
- Support clients with their daily routines, including meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Perform other duties as required to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of our clients
Skills
- Must have 2 years of verifiable experience
-Must be able to pass a background screening
-Must be authorized to work in the US
-Must be able read, write and speak English
-Must display high moral standards of honesty and integrity
-Must have experience with ADL's, senior care, Dementia care, cognitive decline
- Ability to lift and transfer clients as necessary
- Experience working in long-term care or home care environments
- Ability to perform patient observation
- Proficiency in cooking and meal preparation
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our clients
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $180.00 - $220.00 per day
