We are seeking a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee property-level accounting and manage accounts payable processes.
Position Overview
This entry level accounting position is responsible for all accounts payables and related account reconciliations. We can train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer accounts payables processes, including cash, company credit card expenses and all APs – including utility bill payments, vendor payments.
- Work with vendors to obtain needed vendor contacts & payment information.
- Ensures invoices are paid in a timely & accurate manner while adhering to company procedures.
- Review and maintain accurate accounting data to include, but not limited to vendor information data entries, proper coding, etc.
- Provide support for property managers in retrieving financial information from the accounting software.
- Prepare & enter various journal entries, including monthly accruals and adjustments as needed.
- Clarify and questionable invoice items, prices, or acceptance signatures. Obtain proper support/backup information and /or data required for invoice payment.
- Contribute by continuously bringing new ideas and initiatives that add value to the organization and improve the process in terms of both efficiency & effectiveness.
- Assist with property manager and maintenance manager for cost coding issues.
- Perform various other tasks as maybe signed.

- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities and see tasks through to completion.
- Ability to maintain confidential and /or proprietary information.
