Provides analytical, operational and/or project support to one or more functional areas of Deposit & Payment Services.

Evaluate and approve complex legal and organizational documentation for account onboarding and maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and bank policy.

Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Estates, and other complex ownership and entity structures, providing informed guidance and risk-based decisioning to support the bank's operational, compliance and customer service objectives.

Complete routine analysis and judgment-based work over a single or closely related disciplines to support Deposit & Payment Services decisions.

Draft and/or edit procedures specific to one or more functional areas of Deposit & Payment Services to maintain their currency.

Participate in planning, testing and implementing new projects, systems, products and regulatory changes impacting assigned Deposit & Payment Services team(s).

Assist with technical troubleshooting and escalations, coordinating with internal business partners, external vendors and Technology to address issues for assigned Deposit & Payment Services team(s).

Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Associate’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ related experience

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $22.61 - $37.67 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
