We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services to our residents in a long-term care setting. The successful candidate will work closely with our occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents, including but not limited to:
+ Conducting assessments and evaluations
+ Implementing treatment plans to address resident needs and goals
+ Modifying plans as needed to ensure continued progress and independence
- Maintain accurate and complete records of resident progress and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and progress
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Requirements:
- Certified and Active Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the state of Missouri
- 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
