The Cultivation Specialist, Propagation serves as the process expert for Propagation, ensuring daily work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Revolution's standard operating procedures. Working closely with the Cultivation Supervisor, Operations, this role coordinates daily tasks, provides technical guidance, monitors work quality, and supports training and continuous improvement initiatives. While the Cultivation Specialist, Propagation, does not have direct people management responsibilities, they play a critical role in supporting team success through operational leadership, mentorship, and execution excellence.
Scout plants for pest and disease concerns, document observations, and promptly communicate issues to the Cultivation Supervisor, Operations.
Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s OR Associate’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agronomy, or related field; OR equivalent work experience
Required or Preferred Skills, Abilities, Licensures and Certifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various audiences, including supervisors, upper management, and regulatory agencies.

Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including high humidity, fluctuating temperatures, and exposure to chemicals and air contaminants
Ability to perform physical tasks, including ability to lift up to 50lbs, standing for extended periods, and working within confined spaces
Must be able maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
Must be able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection, respirators, Tyvek suits), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
