Build Trust. Drive Momentum. Keep Projects Moving.
NE Tiny Homes is hiring a Client Success Manager to lead the preconstruction experience for our clients from signed agreement through permit approval and construction kickoff.
This is not a passive coordinator role. This is the person who keeps projects from drifting into chaos. You will own the middle of the process where timelines, design coordination, permitting, client communication, and documentation all have to work together. When this role is done well, projects stay clean, clients stay confident, and the handoff to construction is strong.
We are looking for someone who is organized, calm under pressure, clear with clients, and relentless about follow-through. If you know how to keep a lot of moving parts aligned without dropping the ball, you will do well here.
What You’ll Do
- Own the client experience during preconstruction from contract signing through construction kickoff
- Lead kickoff meetings and set expectations for timelines, responsibilities, decision points, and communication cadence
- Coordinate with design partners to move projects from concept to permit-ready plans
- Manage the permitting process from start to finish, including applications, submittals, resubmittals, jurisdiction communication, and approval tracking
- Keep scope under control by documenting selections, decisions, approvals, and change requests
- Maintain a steady client communication rhythm, including weekly updates at minimum
- Track open items, decisions, milestones, and project documentation so nothing gets missed
- Identify risks early, including zoning conflicts, utility issues, site constraints, design bottlenecks, jurisdiction delays, and lead-time concerns
- Coordinate site information needed for design and permitting, including surveys, photos, setbacks, easements, and utility details
- Prepare a complete construction-ready handoff package for the Project Manager
- Help confirm all pre-start requirements are complete before construction begins
- Deliver a high-trust client experience through responsiveness, clarity, professionalism, and consistency
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in preconstruction, permitting coordination, project coordination, client success, construction administration, or residential building operations
- Experience working with design teams and navigating permitting workflows
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence leading client calls and remote meetings
- Ability to interpret basic plan sets and understand residential construction sequencing
- Comfort with Google Workspace, email, and project tracking systems
- HouzzPro experience a major plus
- High integrity, ownership, and follow-through
- Calm, practical, solutions-oriented mindset
- ADU or residential construction experience is a plus
Why Join NE Tiny Homes
At NE Tiny Homes, we are building more than projects. We are building a better client experience in an industry that often makes things harder than they need to be. This role is central to that mission.

You will work closely with design partners and permitting authorities, then help set up the Project Manager and construction team for success with a clean, well-documented handoff.
Work Environment
This role is primarily office or remote-based, with occasional site visits and in-person meetings as needed. Standard schedule is Monday through Friday during business hours, with some flexibility required based on client schedules, permitting deadlines, and jurisdiction meetings.
If you are the kind of person who loves structure, communicates clearly, solves problems early, and takes pride in keeping projects moving, we want to hear from you.
