Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash handling and cash drawer management.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
- Assist with product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of various items.
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance sales and meet store targets.
- Maintain stock levels at the register area by assisting with stocking and merchandising displays.
- Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or directing calls from customers or vendors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in bilingual settings are advantageous to serve diverse customer needs.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques is a plus.
- Supervising experience in retail environments can be beneficial for growth opportunities within the team.
