Rock Roofing is a growing roofing company looking for an Operations Manager to help oversee scheduling, production, customer communication, quality control, and field operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both office and field work. You’ll coordinate projects, support crews, communicate with customers, and help ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate project schedules and customer communications.
Work closely with sales, production crews, suppliers, and ownership.
Order and track materials to ensure timely delivery.
Visit job sites to monitor progress, quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate warranty work and resolve customer concerns.
Conduct safety meetings and promote job site safety.
Assist with production logistics and field operations as needed.
Help improve operational processes and efficiency as the company grows.
Maintain schedules, spreadsheets, and project records using Google Calendar, Word, Excel, and other software tools.
Assist with payroll administration and office operations as responsibilities grow.
Perform occasional minor roofing repairs or field support when needed.
Required Qualifications
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
Experience with Google Calendar, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and solve problems.
Construction, roofing, project management, operations, or related experience.
Preferred - it’s a plus!
Experience in roofing or residential construction.
Experience coordinating crews, schedules, or service operations.
Experience with payroll, bookkeeping, or office administration.
Experience towing trailers or supporting field logistics.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
