As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and compassionate experience while ensuring the front office operates efficiently. What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and compassion.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience from check-in through check-out.
- Schedule appointments and manage provider schedules efficiently.
- Verify insurance eligibility and patient demographics for accuracy.
- Register patients and maintain accurate information within EXA EMR.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.
- Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, paperwork, and clinic processes.
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and office correspondence.
- Perform general administrative duties including scanning, filing, faxing, copying, and document management.
- Assist with additional front office responsibilities as assigned to support clinic operations.

- Is bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

- Is willing to travel between clinic locations when needed to support operational and staffing needs.
- Works well independently while also being a collaborative team player.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Front Office Coordinator, Medical Scheduler, or in a similar healthcare customer service role preferred.
- Experience using EXA EMR is a plus.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
