Duties
- Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Support early childhood education activities, including teaching basic skills and encouraging curiosity
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and nap times for young children
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation
- Collaborate with families and team members to develop personalized care plans tailored to each child's needs
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Use classroom experience and childcare techniques to foster developmental milestones in a nurturing setting
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies
- Passion for caregiving and supporting the growth of young children through teaching and nurturing
