Painter Helper
Job Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking painter to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated to learn, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working both independently and taking direction.
Responsibilities
- Assist with interior and exterior painting projects
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, caulking, and masking
- Set up and clean up job sites and equipment
- Protect floors, furniture, windows, and other surfaces
- Load, unload, and organize painting materials and tools
- Prepare paint as directed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow instructions and safety procedures
- Perform other general duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous painting or construction experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn and work hard
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work on ladders and perform physical work
- Ability to lift and carry painting supplies and equipment
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Must be able to work well with a team
