Express Pros has been hired by a growing high tech manufacturer in the West Seneca NY to hire several Electrical Assembly technicians. This position is responsible for assembling electrical components, wiring, and systems according to technical specifications and blueprints. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and wire electrical components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Perform soldering, crimping, and wiring tasks with precision.
- Inspect and test completed assemblies for quality and functionality.
- Identify and resolve assembly or wiring issues by troubleshooting and making necessary adjustments.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area while following safety guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers and production team members to improve assembly processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and report any defects or discrepancies.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training in electrical assembly preferred.
- Previous experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or a related field in a manufacturing environment.
- Soldering skills are a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Familiarity with electrical components, wiring methods, and assembly techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
