Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial services, ensuring all tasks meet quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to deliver consistent service excellence while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Develop work schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to optimize team productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Enforce safety procedures related to chemical handling, equipment use, and workplace safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event setups that require meticulous attention to detail.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial management within a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning practices, and janitorial operations.
- Experience managing laundry services and maintaining high standards of hygiene in guest rooms and public areas.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive working environment.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service expectations is highly desirable.
