Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Grader Operator / Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience operating a motor grader and experience leading crews in site development, road construction, or earthwork projects. Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a motor grader to achieve accurate grades and project specifications.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field crews and equipment operators.
- Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with management, crew members, and subcontractors.
- Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Enforce all safety standards and job-site procedures.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and quality control as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of motor grader operating experience.
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of grading, site work, and earthmoving operations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and strong work ethic.
- Own transportation required.
- Ability to work an average of 48 hours per week.
