Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist in food plating and presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in all work areas.
- Support kitchen operations through heavy lifting of supplies and equipment while practicing safe lifting techniques.
- Maintain an organized workspace by bussing tables, cleaning stations, and disposing of waste efficiently.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods like banquets or special events.
Experience
- Familiarity with food service, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork
- Prior experience with culinary tasks such as cooking, food preparation, and delivery.
