Duties
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and spousal support
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements
- Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, and other research tools to support case strategy.
- Coordinate client interviews and gather necessary documentation
- Prepare for court appearances by organizing exhibits, pleadings, and supporting documentation
- Maintain detailed records of case progress, deadlines, and correspondence to ensure timely filings and responses
Experience
- Proven paralegal experience supporting family law or related civil litigation cases
- Strong knowledge of procedural law and legal support processes within a law office setting
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw
- Skilled in document review, legal drafting, proofreading, and file management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
- Effective client communication skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal sensitivity

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
