A long-term care pharmacy in Niles, Illinois is seeking a full-time staff pharmacist to join its growing team in a closed-door pharmacy setting. This role involves rotating day and evening shifts and supports medication management for residents across multiple long-term care facilities. The pharmacy serves the greater Chicago area.

Full-time, rotating day and evening shifts.
Compensation
$54 - $60 Per Hour
What You'll Do
You will receive and review incoming medication orders and dispense medications to the long-term care facilities the pharmacy serves. A significant part of the role involves interacting with medical staff at those facilities for order clarification and providing drug information as needed. You will prepare IV medications and total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and you will supervise pharmacy technicians supporting daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Active Illinois pharmacist license
- At least two years of experience in a long-term care pharmacy setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a closed-door pharmacy
- IV and TPN compounding experience
- Experience supervising pharmacy technicians
