The all new Cool City Chevrolet is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive team! Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, including auto diagnostics, transmissions, brake repair, oil changes, tire service, suspension, alignment, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Prepare detailed estimates using auto estimating and service writing tools; communicate costs effectively to customers
- Upsell additional services such as vehicle maintenance packages or recommended repairs to enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle history for future reference
Experience asked for but not required! We are willing to train the right person!
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management and automotive diagnostics
- Hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive repair processes including transmissions, oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, suspension work, and diesel engine repairs
- Skilled in automotive diagnostics, auto estimating, service writing, and automotive service procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Experience upselling services while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Knowledge of automotive systems such as air brakes, alignments, shocks & struts, and auto body repair is highly desirable
- Previous experience handling transactions and working with automotive sales processes

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
