American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Technologist for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, with RCIS or RT(R) certification and WA State License.

Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting with EP and IR capabilities
-
Cath Lab procedures include diagnostic/interventional cath, LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, and peripheral (legs) diagnostic/intervention and loop recorders

EP procedures include Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes
-
IR procedures (experience strongly preferred) include G and GJ tubes, nephrostomy tubes/nephroureteral stents, IVC filter placement, tunneled and temporary dialysis catheters, ports, GI coil and chemo embolizations, thoracentesis/paracentesis, Inari clot extraction, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, Y90s, TIPs, and biopsies; no neuro IR

Ablations performed approximately 2x/month with the EP physician's own team

10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

On-call required 1–2 nights per week and 1–2 weekends per month, with a 30-minute response time

Weekend rotation is call only

May float to affiliated facilities

EMR: Epic

Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; IR experience strongly preferred

Must be able to scrub and operate the table simultaneously

Monitoring experience preferred

RCIS or RT(R) certification required

Current BLS and ACLS required

WA State License required if applicable

Epic EMR experience preferred

First-time travelers considered with 2+ years of experience

One supervisor-level reference required for consideration; a second reference will be required prior to start

Perform diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab, EP, and IR procedures across a broad range of case types
-
EP ablation cases are handled by the EP physician's own team approximately twice per month

Scrubs are provided
