Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables, food prep stations, and dining spaces in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and courteously, fostering a positive dining atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to handle retail sales transactions accurately with basic math skills.
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety management is essential.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
