Summary
We are seeking a passionate Preschool Director to join our North Las Vegas Campus. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning in our preschool environment. Your contributions will be essential in preparing students for their educational journey.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate curriculum for preschool students.
- Provide nurturing care and support to toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support each child's individual needs.
- Facilitate early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support.
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, and exploration through hands-on activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors' degree in ECE/ECSE OR Bachelor's degree in another field and working toward permanent license in a state approved ARL Early Childhood or Early Childhood Developmentally Delayed program; OR
Bachelor's degree in another field with 35 or more ECE college credits OR
Bachelor's degree in another field and enrolled in TEACH Early Childhood; OR
NDE and TEACH Early Childhood approved special exception
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is essential.
- Strong skills in curriculum development and behavior management.
- Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Familiarity with standardized testing practices is a plus.
