Now Hiring: Machinists – Fort Worth, TX
Magnum Staffing is currently hiring experienced Machinists for a manufacturing facility located in Fort Worth. We are looking for skilled candidates with strong toolroom, CNC, and precision machining experience who are ready to join a fast-paced industrial environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and honing equipment
- Perform precision machining including turning, milling, drilling, boring, tapping, grinding, and finishing
- Build, repair, and optimize tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, and special tooling
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T callouts, isometrics, and 3D models
- Program, set up, and prove out CNC jobs while maintaining tight tolerances
- Conduct inspections using micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, height gauges, optical comparators, and CMM equipment
- Assemble and troubleshoot tooling, diagnose machining issues, and support engineering changes/prototypes
- Maintain shop organization, tooling inventory, documentation, and safety procedures
- Record work details in SAP CMMS and maintain quality traceability
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of hands-on toolroom or precision machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with manual lathes, mills, precision grinding, and CNC machining
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T specifications
- Skilled in precision measurement and metrology practices
- Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and standard shop equipment
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360 preferred
- Experience with wire EDM, sinker EDM, jig grinding, hard turning, or CMM programming is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with engineering teams
Payrate: $25
DuPont shifts(12 hr rotating shifts)
