Pulpmill services. Inc. (PSI) primary business is the manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and repair of high alloy rotary vacuum equipment, diversifying into General Construction including concrete, structural steel, piping and mechanical projects. PSI has full-service high alloy fabrication and machine shops utilizing advanced CNC machines, water jet and plasma tables, and large horizontal and vertical milling machines.
The fitter/fabricator is responsible for the day-to-day production of Pulpmill Services specialty equipment business.
This position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of duties including but not limited to the following key functions:

Proficient in reading blueprints

Proficient in math skills

Proficient in reviewing blueprints and specifications to determine what materials and equipment are needed.

Proficient in material and dimensional layouts

Proficient in operating forming equipment such as presses, rolls and brakes

Ability to drill, cut, bend, and straighten metal
-
Ability to fit and assemble metal parts to tight tolerances
-
Ensure machines are running and maintained properly prior to use
-
Lift and/or move materials and finished products using forklifts and/or cranes
-
Read tape measure, protractor, trammels, levels, squares, and scales
-
Can use and operate rigging, overhead crane and forklift
-
Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner

Fabrication Shop
Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials.

Experience in metal job shop.

Experience reading blueprints.

Prefer 4+ years of welding and fitting experience.
