EXPERIENCED A&P MECHANIC - PISTON AIRCRAFT

ACES Flight School is growing quickly, and we’re seeking an experienced Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic with strong piston aircraft maintenance experience to join our team full-time. We operate a diverse piston fleet including Cessna 172s, a Piper Cherokee 140, and a Piper Aztec, with continued expansion as we move into our new facility.
ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused A&P mechanic who has hands-on experience performing and completing 100-hour inspections from start to finish. You’ll play a critical role in keeping our fleet airworthy, supporting daily flight operations, and ensuring our students and instructors have safe, dependable aircraft.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on piston aircraft
- Conduct 100-hour and annual inspections with the ability to fully complete the inspection process independently
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair discrepancies
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer requirements
- Assist with parts ordering, inventory, and tracking
- Collaborate with flight instructors and operations staff to keep aircraft in service
- Support fleet expansion, upgrades, and shop projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- FAA A&P Certificate required
- 1+ years piston aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience completing 100-hour inspections independently is required
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety
