Job Summary
Join our 2nd Shift Custodial staff as a Working Supervisor, overseeing cleaning, inspection and inventory operations during the evening hours from Monday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. In this leadership role, you will supervise custodial staff, ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation, and promote a positive work environment. Your management skills will drive efficient cleaning processes across various facilities, including commercial spaces, hospitality venues, or institutional settings. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily custodial activities during the evening shift to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks.
- Lead and motivate custodial staff by providing clear instructions, training, and ongoing support to uphold quality standards.
- Oversee cleaning operations including general sanitation, floor care, restroom maintenance, laundry services, and specialized cleaning projects.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational readiness.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to verify cleanliness standards are met and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Document shift activities through reports and logs; communicate effectively with management regarding operational updates or issues.
Experience (Preferred)
- Proven supervising experience in custodial services or janitorial management within commercial, hospitality, or institutional settings.
- Strong background in cleaning techniques including general sanitation, floor care, laundry services, and specialized cleaning tasks.
- Experience managing teams with leadership skills that foster motivation and accountability.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to custodial work and familiarity with health regulations applicable to cleaning environments.
- Prior hotel or hospitality housekeeping management experience is highly desirable.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
