About the Practice
Something New Counseling and Wellness is a mental health practice designed to support women and adolescent girls as they navigate trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated licensed therapist to join our growing virtual practice as an independent contractor (1099). This is an ideal opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about working with women and adolescent girls, values flexibility, and wants to make meaningful impact in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality virtual psychotherapy to women and teen girls
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing therapy sessions
- Maintain clinical records
- Maintain ethical and professional standards of care
- Manage schedule availability and maintain consistency with clients
- Collaborate as needed regarding referrals and client care
Ideal Candidate
- Fully licensed therapist in Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
- EMDR trained or EMDR certified strongly preferred
- PMH-C credential or training in maternal mental health preferred
- Experience treating trauma, PTSD, complex trauma (CPTSD), anxiety, depression, and life transitions
- Experience working with women and adolescents required
- Proficient in providing faith-based counseling when aligned with client preferences and needs
- Warm, relational, and grounded therapeutic presence
- Comfortable providing telehealth services
- Organized, reliable, and self-motivated
