Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in the Cincinnati area. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output while maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor machinery according to production specifications
- Load raw materials and ensure proper machine alignment and calibration
- Perform quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major malfunctions to maintenance
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Keep work area clean and organized
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Basic math and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CNC, press brake, extrusion, injection molding, or other industrial equipment
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment
