Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty beverages using efficient bartending techniques
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations with excellent time management to maintain swift service during busy hours
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately using Square POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Assist with setup and breakdown of events such as banquets or nightclub functions, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning properly
- Engage with guests proactively to promote sales, recommend menu items, and enhance customer satisfaction through attentive service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings
- Proficiency with Square POS; basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices
- Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with retail math for inventory management or sales tracking is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment
