Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup scaffolding
- Handle and operate hand tools and power tools for tasks such as mixing mortar, cutting bricks, or shaping concrete forms
- Support masons in laying bricks, blocks, stone, or concrete
- Help with rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing work
- Maintain safety protocols by adhering to all site safety guidelines
- Complete end of day site clean up and tool organization
Skills
- Understanding in using hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding building
- Knowledge of concrete finishing, mortar work, caulking, and restoration processes
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently
- Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed
- Prior construction experience including renovation projects or building material installation is highly desirable
