Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will oversee the management of personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring smooth communication between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies. Your expertise in legal research, case management, and document review will be essential in delivering exceptional service and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
Duties
- Manage personal injury cases by coordinating all aspects of case development, including client intake, documentation, and follow-up.
- Review and organize legal documents, medical records, and evidence using case management system.
- Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, settlement agreements, and other documents with precision and clarity.
- Interview clients, witnesses, medical providers, and insurance representatives to gather relevant information and ensure accurate case assessments.
- Maintain detailed case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court procedures and legal standards.
- Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and managing phone etiquette to facilitate efficient office operations.
- Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on litigation strategies involving personal injury law as well as related areas such as workers' compensation law or insurance claims.
Experience
- Personal Injury Plaintiff Case Management experience or equivalent legal administrative experience in a law office setting is required.
- Familiarity with legal case management software.
- Excellent organizational skills to keep up with deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and in person with clients and team members alike. Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
