Position Overview:
- Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in individual or small-group settings, helping promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Assist classroom teachers with implementing lesson plans, classroom activities, and student support strategies.
- Support students with daily learning activities, communication, organization, and skill development while adapting to individual needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment by encouraging student engagement and independence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Completion of at least 60 college credit hours is preferred, or successful completion of the WorkKeys or ETS ParaPro Assessment
- Ability to meet state and district paraprofessional requirements
